Brief Profile
Over fifteen years experience working in the UK National Health Service as a trainee doctor and senior consultant.
Previously Assistant Professor at The University of Sheffield, UK undertaking research in anti-cancer drug design publishing over 30 papers in international peer review journals.
Dr Haq has clinical expertise and vast experience in all aspects of gastroenterology, hepatology (liver medicine) and endoscopy.

Dr Haq adopts a patient-centred approach to clinical care; he works hard to listen to the patients’ story and understand their ideas, concerns and expectations. He manages GI and liver problems in a holistic way – taking into account all other medical co-morbidities. He has access to sophisticated, state-of-the-art, diagnostic tools at The View Hospital to investigate symptoms in detail, achieve an accurate diagnosis and provide the most up-to-date treatments according to the best current international evidence and standards.
Dr Haq is a skilled endoscopist carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy (OGD – oesophago-gastro-duodenoscopy) and diagnostic lower GI endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy).
