Brief Profile
Dr Daniele Lorenzano MD, EEA-Ophth(HONS), FRCOphth is an Ophthalmic Senior Consultant and Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgeon. He trained extensively in the UK, completing fellowships in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery, and in Orbital and Thyroid Eye Disease research, at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, alongside a Visiting Fellowship at Melbourne Eye & Ear Hospital's Oculoplastic and Orbital Service and an Oculoplastic fellowship at the Bristol Eye Hospital in UK. He previously served as Senior Oculoplastic Lacrimal and Orbital Surgeon at University Hospital Southampton treating adults and children conditions and he holds an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer position in Ophthalmology at the University of Southampton.
He is proud of being a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and he is also fully certified by the Italian Medical Board where he enjoys occasional clinics in Milan and Rome. His clinical focus centers on oculoplastic, lacrimal, and orbital surgery, with specific expertise in thyroid eye disease and cosmetic eyelid surgery and dry eyes disease but he continues enjoying general ophthalmology clinics for children and adults.
