Brief Profile
Dr. Habib Al Basti is a Senior Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with over three decades of clinical excellence. He currently serves at The View Hospital as a Consultant in Plastic Surgery, and at Hamad General Hospital and is the Medical Director of Dr. Habib Al Basti Medical Complex. A graduate of Ain Shams University, Dr. Habib completed advanced training in the United Kingdom and holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
He has held prominent leadership roles including President of the Pan Arab Society of Plastic Surgeons and the GCC Society of Plastic Surgeons. His contributions to the field span academic teaching, research, and regional board examinations. He is actively involved in multiple national and international societies, including ISAPS and ASPS.
Dr. Habib is also an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College – Qatar and has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his dedication to innovation and patient care in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
